About Me

My Name is Shirley Ruth Caron, I'm 60 years old(this is not a recent Picture of me!), and I live on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana with my Husband, Mike. I have been honored with the Title of "Poetry Ambassador of 2007" with The National Library of Poetry. I have received several Awards from several different Poetry Organizations, such as, High Achievment Awards, Editor's Choice Awards, I own several Poetry Anthologies with my Published, Copyrighted Poetry in them, and I own two Cassettes from The International Society of Poets("Sound of Poetry") that have two of my Published Poems, "Shadows" and "The Final Frontier" on them.

I have had a Record Contract for the past six years with Emerald Records in Nashville, Tennessee and my Producer is Mr. Cliff Ayres Ostermeyer(Owner/Producer)of Emerald Records, Record Row Review, The Entertainer Network, and The EIA(Entertainer Indi-Association)Awards Show in Nashville, Tennessee. Two of my Recorded Songs, "Time" and "A Touch of Beauty" will be released to the Public in the near Future. At this time, Singing is my Career, and I love Performing with my Band, "The Bound For Glory Band!" I am quite a busy Lady, even though I have two Steel Rods in my Spine, Degeneration in my Spine, Lower Back, and Hips, Osteoarthritis, I almost lost my Right Leg when it was crushed by the Car that struck me back in 1985(my Leg was broken in six places under the Knee!), and I have suffered with Epilepsy since I was 14 years old and I have Fundraising Events two to three times a year to raise Funds for The National Epilepsy Foundation to help them find a possible Cure for this Dreadful Disease that Kills Millions, Young and Old, every year!

I have a lot of Strong Faith in God, and He is my Rock, my Strength, my Will and Determination to make it through every day of my Life, especially when I am in extreme Pain in my Spine and Lower Back, which is every day.
